Nepal 's new centre-left communist prime minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal gives his first interview since taking up the post. Excerpts from the interview, with Rabindra Mishra, editor of the BBC's Nepali service, are reproduced here:

The government is preparing to reconstitute the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC), reports say.
