Several people, including gamer enthusiasts, use mods to illustrate a computer's capabilities, and for aesthetic purposes. Modified computers may be often observed at LAN competitions where their owners display them. Modding is also about creativity and demonstrating what you as the modder can do, some mods are designed around a vision.
