Case modding is the modification of a computer case. Modifying a computer-case in any non-standard way is considered a mod. Many people, particularly hardware hobbyists, use case mods to demostrate a computer's power, and for visual appeal. Modified pcs are often found at gamer parties where their owners display them. Modding can also be about self expression and showing what you are capable of, many mods are fabricated around a theme.
