THIS is the amazing X-ray that shows why family pet Gracey was as sick as a dog - a 6-INCH pair of surgical scissor clamps inside her for TWO YEARS.
They were mistakenly left behind after an op to spay her as a puppy. A different vet operated to remove them - and the Rottweiler-cross is now fighting fit. Owner Trudi Deja-Summers, of High Halden, Kent said: "Before the first op Gracey was happy but after it she wouldn't stop growling."
Eventually Gracey went lame in one leg and an X-ray revealed the cause - the scissor clamps. The vet who left them there apologised and offered to pay the £600 bill for the op to remove them.
Trudi said: "Gracey is now coming to me for big hugs again."

Chuddy u dont know what u are saying.You will tend to find that most dogs are fine unless they are bred to fight.Its the way they are brought up by their owners that makes them a problem.I think u have watched to many omen films lol

a shame for this dog? it is an absolute disgrace this happened, if this happened to a human there would be outrage! the poor thing must have been in absolute agony for two years. And as for these dogs being 'devil dogs?' have you had one yourself 'Chuddy' because i myself have two and they are the most loveable dogs, this is why they arent on the Dangerous Dogs list. If you havent had one and are therefore obviously ignorant, i dont think you have the right to comment personally. Hope Gracey makes a full recovery....

ITS PEOPLE THA TURN DOGS INTO 'DEVIL DOGS'. I have a bullmastiff who is the most gentle creature, he cuddles up to the cats, watches frogs in the pond and is so friendly to every human.
If you dont have anything useful to say through genuine experience and knowledge, please dont say anything.

I hope that this imcompetent vet has been investigated & reprimanded by the Veterinary authorities so this does not happen to anyone elses animal..?

What on earth are you rambling about?
What you say does not even make sense, I presume you are trying to say that rottweilers (even though Gracey is a cross) are 'devil dogs'..?
What exactly has Gracey done to deserve this tag - has she attacked anybody? Has she tried to bite a small child? No - she has simply had an operation by an incompetent vet, poor thing.
Once again, to all the small-minded oiks like you, any dog -large or small- is only as good as it's owner, properly trained & handled will produce you a well-rounded happy, controlled dog.
So unless you have anything interesting to say, with proper reasoning behind your 'opinions' then please be quiet.

That is shocking =O the poor dog, glad it is getting a full recovery =)x.....and i dont understand how people class a certain type of dog as a devil dog.....I think this type of dog is miss read, i have one and she is the most lovely dog you can have....it depends how the dog has been brought up and i cant stand how people miss read rottys =/ but everyone is intitled to their opinion.....

That's disgraceful the vet should pay compensation not just to put right his mistake. He should at least refund the cost of the original operation.
Chuddy - Well-bred Rottweillers can be the most affectionate and intelligent of dogs as I can testify. They were not bred for violence or even hunting as are some dogs. They are not the "devils" - it is the people who breed them from bad stock and those who don't take care of them properly.

The comment by Chubby Al.. is total rubbish! I myself own one of these dogs. They deserve every right to be in society the same as we do. Its not the dogs that cause the problems its the owners! Every dog can have an aggressive side & people can be just as bad!

Its ashame for this dog BUT these dogs should be in a zoo NOT in the public. Devil dogs have no place in society IMO.
