Nigerian government recruits 1,767 prayer warriors to pray their president

It has almost almost 3 months since the President of Nigeria left the country for medical treatment; some have begun to think it is something to do with the spiritual forces as the Zamfara State Government of Nigeria has recruited 1,767 Islamic clerics to pray for the quick recovery of President Umaru Yar’Adua.
Nigerians often concludes issues with religion as the people of Zamfara state states that the only way out of the Nigerian President’s health condition is prayers and whatever maybe the health condition of the President has gone beyond Science and Medicine and they will fight it spiritually as well.
In order to fight the demons behind Nigerian President’s health condition, World News Vine findings proofed that Zamfara State Government, will spend about 17.6 million Naira equivalent to 117,334 USD on the prayers as each of the cleric will go home with N10,000 equivalent to 67 USD for the service rendered within 15 minutes. The prayers are being held on the 481- week Friday preaching at Juma’at mosques in Gusau city of Zamfara state, Nigeria.
The Representative of the Governor, the state Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheik Tukur Sani Jangebe, remarked that the prayer session was necessary in view of the present situation the country was passing through.
According to him, the health of the president was very important for the survival of the country and, as such, he needed the prayers of Nigerians instead of playing politics with his health.
However, critics said for how long the Nigerian Government will continue to waste the Federal funds in the name of God, stating how God can answer a paid prayer for political propaganda, “God will punish those who mock Him in the name of Religion for political fame.”

There is an extreme amount of confusion and worry regarding the unemployment compensation benefits both, regular and emergency extensions. Yesterday an Afghan-international security force searched a small compound in a rural area of the Nad Ali district, Helmand Province where intelligence information indicated militant activity. During the search the joint force detained a pair of suspected insurgents, and found Taliban propaganda and a grenade.

The intercepted conversations further revealed that, while on duty in an NYPD patrol car on March 31, 2007, Green used NYPD computers to obtain vehicle registration information for two vehicles and provided that information to Wilson. Both those vehicles had been used to conduct surveillance of Wilson and his co-conspirators during the wiretap investigation. In a subsequent conversation, Green told Wilson that he wanted a warm-up suit and a pair of sneakers in exchange for the information.
